The New Event Player

Until now, reviewing an event meant clicking through individual recordings one at a time. The new Event Player delivers continuous, gapless playback across the entire event.

Playback starts just before the trigger moment. The filmstrip shows an intelligently selected snapshot every 5 seconds: not a random still, but the best frame from each interval. Someone runs through frame in under a second? A normal scrubber or timelapse would miss them. Here, they appear front and centre with a detection box. Works the same whether the event is 30 seconds or an hour long.

• Event filmstrip: visual overview at 5-second intervals. Click to jump. Expandable into a full grid
• Wall-clock time: shows 16:47:09, not "2 minutes in"
• Variable speed: fast-forward and rewind at adjustable rates
• Flexible viewing: expand inline, go fullscreen, snapshot, zoom, and pan
• Recordings tab: per-recording view still available when needed

The new Event Player is live for all TetherX users. Open any event and press play.
